   The food and service was amazing! Such well-seasoned food, and really a great place to celebrate anything. We celebrated our anniversary, and it was a great time. We will definitely be back! My husband had the NY strip with mushrooms and the potato anna to share, and I had the lamp chops and the glazed carrots. We shared the Parker house bread and dirty tots for appetizers; I also had a Caesar salad, and my husband had French onion soup. We ended the night with the honey butter cake since we were stuffed after all that food. It was such a great evening of tasty food. On the higher side, price-wise but comparable to other Cameron Mitchell restaurants, but in our opinion worth it.

   Was sat upstairs and it wasn’t a good vibe. Over served guest crowded the room due to the kitchen being backed up. One drunk guest hopped from table to table offering to buy shots for others. Very annoying when trying to enjoy a date night. The experience wasn’t worth the $500.

   The trendiest place in Columbus right now! Service was amazing and Jeremy was super attentive and engaging. The food was good but not great for the prices. Def a special occasion restaurant.

   We had the pleasure of dining at Butcher & Rose, a culinary gem that redefines excellence. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with sophistication, impeccable service, and gorgeous scenery draped in roses, chandeliers and masculine accents. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. Soft lighting, elegant décor, and a serene atmosphere created the perfect setting for a memorable evening. Every detail, from the table setting to the coat check spoke of thoughtfulness and care. We started with the Parker House their housemade bread, to the main course including the Miso Sea Bass and the long bone duroc pork chop paired with sides to share, choosing the delicious potato Anna and the roasted mushrooms. Dessert was the grand finale—the honey butter cake with mixed berries and vanilla gelato, the perfect end to a flawless meal. What truly set Butcher & Rose apart was the impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff anticipated our every need and ensured that every moment felt special. Butcher & Rose is not just a restaurant, it’s a destination, a celebration of flavor, gorgeous atmosphere and genuine hospitality. Our choice to dine there was to celebrate my birthday and I left feeling thoroughly spoiled and eagerly anticipating our next visit.

   Butcher and Rose is a beautiful Cameron Mitchell restaurant that has only been open about 7 months. Maria was our server and she perfectly in detail explained the menu and specials. My wife and I shared a Bibi salad and French onion soup. Maria suggested the Anna Potato that had a nice perfectly thinly sliced potato and wonderful sauce. My wife had roasted stuffed chicken and I had a fantastic Cameron Mitchell 1200 degree Ribeye Steak. Highly recommend booking at 7 days or more in advance. We parked at the Ohio Statehouse parking per the Block and Rise website but the resteraunt offers a nice valet service for $15 + tip. Great evening can’t wait to come back.

   Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic food. We eat at a lot of Cameron Mitchell restaurants & this is the only one that did not offer a birthday dessert. Pretty disappointing when you spend $350 for a birthday dinner for two.

   Great atmosphere,service was excellent. At our waiters recommendation we ordered several items: 1-Dirty Tots which were amazing and not at all what we expected. The description on the menu did not do them justice but the waiter did! 2- Baked scallops appetizer is the Coquille St. Jacques at Windward passage with smaller pieces of scallop instead of large chunks, which was fine with me. The cream sauce had a touch more flavor then WPs and the presentation was the same except there was rock salt( I think) which resembled ice on the plate of a piping hot appetizer-intetesting touch! 3- The Rose- reminiscent of a cocktail from M with the large ground ice cube with a rose in the middle. Delicious! My son ordered the Beef Wellington which he devoured. The presentation was lovely. For dessert he had the special which was strawberry chiffon cake-Amazing!! We ordered the seafood tower which was a little disappointing for the amount vs. price but the seafood was fresh and fabulous! Our steaks were great but nothing to write home about necessarily. I am a Jeff Ruby girl and this steak did not sway me to jump ship. The two negatives were we were seated at a table which backed up to a large table where our chairs were back to back. That being said, we did bring an extra person but that could have been easily remedied by switching us to the opposite table that had a 2 person reservation or any number of other open tables. The entire dinner we could feel the frustration of the waiter for that table who had to walk around to reach the other side of the table. My husband felt very cramped and uncomfortable as if he was in the way. As he put it, if I’m eating a $700 dinner, I don’t like to feel like I’m in the way and constantly being leaned over. The last negative was we had to pay $15 for bread. I don’t know why, but that really bothered me. The Parker rolls were good but I feel could have easily been gratis.
