Having had other brunches in the dmv area I would not be returning or recommending anyone to come to bygone brunch. For 3 people I spent a little bit over $300 and the food options were limited, a hotel bed and breakfast had more in my opinion, drinks were a separate fee. I would recommended that bygone have a bottomless mimosa option and upgrading their menu to offer an array of food choices.

The food and ambience are top tier. Only thing that took away from the evening was the process for getting on and off the elevator. We waited nearly 10 min for the elevator and it was midnight with not many people in the restaurant. The security while I’m sure is necessary, really created a time waster.

The seating hostesses were ambivalent to my seating request. She forgot to seat my date and I, twice! The food was mid, particularly the $94 fillet mignon, mac n cheese and the soup my date ordered. At the Bygone, it seems you're paying for the 29th floor views, which were amazing, enhanced by the fireworks from M&T Bank stadium as the Ravens crushed the Steelers. Our waiter was great though.

Good Afternoon Mr Egolum, I apologize for not meeting your expectations for the evening. Upon reviewing your records I found a note on your reservation that you informed the host that you preferred to wait for a window seat, which would be why other parties were seated before you. Based on your review I am assuming this was a mistake on our part and for that I apologize sincerely. I will review this with my host team to ensure that we are clear about our communication regarding seating requests for guests in the future. I am, happy to hear that you enjoyed KJ's service. He is new to our team, so this feedback is encouraging. As always, reviews help us grow, so thank you very much for the feedback and feel free to call if you would like to discuss further. Best, Frank 201 916 1387

We had a wonderful meal at Bygone. It was part of a January "staycation", and it really capped a great day. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful, but also unobtrusive. Overall, great experience.
