I had to send the Coq au Vin back because it was undercooked. They remade it but it took a very long time while my friends waited to eat. They brought it back and it was grey and inedible. I could not cut any meat from the leg. My friend had the Beef and he really enjoyed it. It was not a busy night at all and the service was very slow.

I'd recommend this to a friend, to give them another chance, as my recent experience is not at all what I've had in the past at this sweet neighborhood gem. But, I'd do it carefully. Maybe we caught them at an off night, or maybe there has been a change in ownership? For a not-full Saturday evening, the service was slow to start. Something caught fire in the kitchen that gave off a smell of burned plastic that lingered for a bit. The burrata was tough, as in hard and chewy, but the roasted sprouts were yummy. My dinner guests felt their meals were generally "meh", including a couple of the specials. It all felt like a new crew trying to organize themselves as a restaurant? I didn't recognize any of the servers that I usually see.

Snails were disgusting right off the can with a absolutely no savors. My old fashion came in a sticky glass. I had to ask for a new glass and wash my hands. Knife for maigret did not cut anything. Boeuf bourguignon was good but not nicely plated.

Had the beef bourginon twice now, and each time it was awesome, delicious! Corkage fee of $15 is reasonable, thank you.

This place is an amazing place for brunch. However, I was a little disappointed with dinner - dishes were okay, not as I expected.
