   They really crowded the tables in, and even though we had a reservation, they were going to put us right by the door, which would have been very drafty with people coming in all the time for their table. They moved us to the back and we were right by the door, where the kitchen is. That table was not much better since the waiters kept bumping into my husband as they passed by to and from the kitchen. The worst was my son-in-law had a Caesar salad that did not include olives yet there were two olive pits in his salad, and he almost broke his tooth. there was my not much of a fuss made by us regarding that because we wanted to enjoy a nice dinner, but they certainly did not try to make up for it in anyway at all. The restaurant is very nice. The food is excellent, and the service is very good as well.

   Despite the changes over the years, Cafe Central has maintained the high standards I've always expected. Service, food, wine, cocktails. We went for our anniversary and the service was absolutely lovely.

   My wife and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. We had the green Chile soup and dover sole. Both were excellent we really enjoyed them. The story with the wine was not up to standards. First it took the waiter very long to bring the wine menu. Then I ordered a bottle of a chardonnay from Sonoma that was listed in their short menu offering the wine also by the glass. Waiter came back to say they did not have it. Then I ordered a second chardonnay from Sonoma, waiter came back to say they did not have it either. He then suggested a chardonnay from Santa Barbara, which was OK, but not what we were looking for. The evening was enjoyable and we will be back.

   Wonderful Experience. Staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish. Had a wheel chair in our party and they were over the top in accomidating us. Waiter and assistant were so nice and attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

   Pork loin chop and ribeye steak were cooked perfectly and delicious. Ambience with piano music and singer was great. Very good service and atmosphere, great overall experience

   Steak was just ok. I want to see my steak. It was overly covered in fried onions. Didn’t taste like a quality steak

    Starters of beef carpaccio and signature green chile soup were amazing and Angel was an awesome server. Our entrees of duck and ribeye however were underwhelming. The duck arrived at our table without a key component - the foie gras terrine. No mention would have been made of it if I hadn’t asked about it. I was really looking forward to trying it and the presentation seemed to be a little lackluster without it. Taste-wise it was rather under seasoned. The ribeye seemed like it may have been sitting for a bit and the mashed potatoes weren’t served very warm.
