I love the casual and friendly ambiance of this place. Staff are consistently offering a warm welcome at the door and impeccable service. I tried the duck confit for the first time - it was perfectly cooked, crispy skin and melt in your mouth meat. I usually order the sea bass because it’s so wonderful- it’s going to be tough to decide on future! And last but not least the pot de crème with a glass of Jurançon was a delicious way to finish a perfect evening.

I love Café Colline for dinner. But brunch was a letdown. Dinner is consistently delicious and there’s a great vibe to the restaurant. The food at brunch was so bland. Omelette with Gruyère and herbs but no flavor. The fries had no flavor. The onion soup was hot (the cheese) but lukewarm inside and tasted very sugary. The salmon tartine was tasty but just a slab of bread with the salmon and a poached egg & some pickled onion. For almost $20 it could have had a few salad leaves and dressing. We will try the café again for dinner at some point but not spend the money on brunch.

The brunch had numerous options. For hors d'oeuvres: the Frissee Lardon was well-dressed and topped with a perfectly poached egg; and the Soup a L'Oignon had perfectly caramelized onions and was topped with delicious golden crust of Gruyere cheese that over flowed the bowl. For entrees: the Tartine featured a buttery salmon and parsley spread that was well complemented by the slightly acid capers and pickled shallots; and the Loup de Mer was perfectly cooked and the butter sauce and nuts added to the flavor and texture of the dish. For dessert: the Pots de Creme was creamy and flavorful with no bitter chocolate aftertaste; and the Mocha Creme Caramel was firm and creamy with the almond praline adding a satisfying crunch. The Mimosa was light and refreshing. The Bloody Mary was average. The ambience was that of a cafe, not a fancy restaurant. The food was as high quality as any french restaurant, and the portions were generous. Highly recommend for a delicious french cafe meal!

Very special neighborhood restaurant. I'd just soon keep it to myself and not let others know about it! Attentive service, comfortable atmosphere & wonderful food.

I had another fantastic experience at Cafe Colline! As always, the service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Our server was attentive and super sweet, making our visit even more enjoyable. I took a friend there to celebrate her birthday, and she loved it just as much as I do. I’ll definitely keep returning and highly recommend this charming spot to anyone looking for a great meal and a warm, welcoming environment!

It was Monday night. It was cold in the restaurant on a cool night. We asked them to turn down the a/c, which they did thankfully. The frisee salad was excellent. The loup de mer was cooked just right and very delicious by itself, although the dish would've benefited from less butter, much less butter.

We lived in Paris previously and travel there often, and Cafe Colline is as good as many of our favorite restos in Paris. Food, service, and ambience were all topnotch.

Their Onion Soup is terrific. Mussels also great. It's pretty easy to be happy with food here. But, I'd say the bucatini with butternut squash was a miss.
