   This Resturant name has changed to Le Sud. Remy is and excellent server! The owner came up and said hello! Very professional outfit! We will be back. Food was delicious!

   I rarely leave reviews but my experience here left me incredulous. I have NEVER experienced service worse than this, anywhere, ever. My friend & I arrived b4 the main restaurant was open & we sat at the bar & ordered tapas b/c we didn’t want a full mean & we didn't have time for a full dining experience. We ordered two Coronas, which were warm, so we asked the bartender if we could please have cold beers. He took the beers & agreed that they were warm & he replaced them. We ordered Tapas & received them & that was the last time ANYONE said a word to us or noticed us. There were 4 or 5 wait staff & 1 bartender. My friend tried to get the attention of someone or make eye contact with anyone so we could ask for napkins… finally, we had to find our own. We had yucca fries, which came with a bland dipping sauce, so we thought we’d like some ketchup, and couldn’t get anyone’s attention in order to ask for some. At one point, a member of the wait staff notice the beers that we’ve had which were warm and she recapped them and put them back in the refrigerator. Never mind that my friend had had a sip of one of the beers, out of the bottle. Finally we decided that we were done and wanted to leave but we hadn’t been given the check. It was nearly comical. How many people wandered around us as if we were invisible & all we wanted was to check. It became exasperating just attempting to get someone’s attention so that we could pay. We could’ve been naked wandering around & walked out without paying, & no one would’ve noticed. I don’t even know how we eventually & finally were able to get someone’s attention & pay. I know that it was forcefully done…. I believe it required my friend to get up & literally walk to someone & touch them on the shoulder to remind anyone that we were present, just to get the check. It was as if we were COMPLETELY INVISIBLE. And that is not an exaggeration. We were invisible to the entire staff.

   Ambience and poolside setting was lovely. The food was beautifully plated and looked stunning but the portions were small. The entrees were only slightly larger than appetizers size. Would recommend the tuna tataki and for drinks, the mai tai cocktail.

   We had the best experience at Cafe La Plantation! We stayed at Secrets all inclusive and dinners left much to be desired. We wanted to venture off resort and experience a local restaurant and we are so glad we did! The serves were so welcoming, happy & helpful. The food was AMAZING! Best filet i've had in a while! We also got to see a band performing christmas songs in a little parade that went by which was so neat! I wish we could come back for dinner frequently. Missing you from the USA!

   The food was good, however, it took 2 hours just to get our appetizer and main course because there was a big party and they were unable to accommodate everyone that was there at the same time. They did apologize but didn’t offer us anything or take something off our bill. Very disappointing.

   A wonderful meal- our teenager needs gluten free and they brought out special bread without us even asking! Drinks were reasonable and tasty- esp. the local banana/vanilla/cinnamon rum! Food was delicious, including two risottos (veggie/shrimp) and the filet. Just a short walk from our Orient Beach hotel and totally worth it!

   Nous n'avons pas été reçu, malgré notre réservation pour le petit-déjeuner. Soucis d'organisation sans doute, bien dommage.

    Super cadre, la piscine est vraiment magnifique et le personnel était très agréable. L’avocado toast était très bon.
