   It was wonderful. I have lived in Topanga for 38 years & the views are similar to my deck & they are truly wonderful.

   Love this place, every time I travel to California I make sure to have morning breakfast here. The staff is super nice and the food is just amazing. Also the view overlooking the canyon is something out of a postcard. Definitely don’t have these views in New York lol and it’s super worth visiting every time we travel in.

   Loved the staff and the ambiance is amazing. It's a little haven in the middle of Los Angeles set amid the trees in the canyon. The staff was wonderful and the avocado toast is sublime!

   For my wife’s birthday, I chose this restaurant, drawn by its cool, boho, Topanga treehouse vibe. I’d heard it was popular and hard to book, so expectations were high—but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. While the atmosphere was charming and the chai lattes were excellent, the overall experience left much to be desired. The lack of management and staff coordination was evident. Our server was kind, but timing was consistently off, and the staff seemed to be running around aimlessly, unsure of their tasks. The food was underwhelming, and one of our friends waited forever for his meal without any explanation or resolution. While they did remove the salads from the bill, the issue wasn’t properly addressed. Adding to the frustration was the birthday mishap. I had brought a special cake and reminded our server at the end of the meal, but instead of bringing out the cake we brought, she served a slice of the restaurant’s cake—an unfortunate disconnect that capped off an already chaotic efternoon. I truly believe this restaurant has potential, and I hope they work out the kinks because the setting is beautiful, and the staff is sweet. But as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion.

   Had an 8:00am breakfast mid-November and it was a breezy and cold morning. The staff quickly upon opening the doors got all the heaters out and running, making the temperature outside pretty comfortable. We also did not feel the wind in the dining area. The ambiance is upscale casual. They make it just comfortable enough to enjoy your meal but not stay too long - lol. They do have a 90-minute dining limit which I am not sure is enforced. We were there about 50 minutes, and it was just right. I've dined here twice and both times the service from all the staff was excellent, and the food was delicious. The vegan sandwich and the mushroom omelet were both great, each served with a very tasty baby greens salad. The chai latte was good but not as good some other places, although a bit larger. I was surprised to see the $1 charge for nut milk in the latte but that is my fault for not asking if their suggested "choices" of milks mean an extra charge. Not really a big deal but it felt misleading. I look forward to trying more items on the menu because the food has been so good so far. Also, sitting on the patio in the canyon along with the ambience they've created is very enjoyable.
