Café Rouge Exeter offers the perfect dining experience in a truly welcoming environment
Dramatic rouge red curtains adorn the entrance and examples of the best regional wines are on display throughout the bistro. For spacious al fresco dining the outside seating area is the perfect choice.
The jewel in our crown is our fabulous private dining room to the rear of the restaurant. With a spectacular chandelier, South of France themed table-tops and the capacity of up to 50 guests this area is ideal. From birthdays, celebrations and get-togethers through to business lunches and meetings we can cater for all needs and the best news it is free to hire.

Friendly busy restaurant on a pre Christmas shopping trip. Very busy as you would expect on a Saturday lunchtime. Our waitress was so nice. Food delicious. Just what was needed. Wine quite pricey- fortunately a husband was treating us as we were doing all the Christmas shopping!

Staff had no record of my booking, fortunately there were seats available but I booked especially to ensure a table due to my elderly mother not being able to walk far.

just an occasional Saturday evening out, but we were made warmly welcome. Service was excellent and the food tasty and as described. We really enjoyed our cocktails and did not feel rushed as the food came at reasonable intervals. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It's also really nice to be able to use Tesco points - don't feel we have to economise on the drinks when the food is paid for with vouchers and it was so easy to organise.
