   This is my second time dining there and both times I’ve been disappointed by the food. It’s just average, but the prices are far above average.

   The noise was unbearable. They seated a table full of very loud women right across from us. We could not possibly have a conversation and I requested a quiet table when I made the reservation. These women were loud enough for the trout in the Chattahoochee to hear. When we left,there were 20+ tables adjacent kitchen that were not occupied and it was quiet in that area.

   Exceptional food and outstanding service! The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Beautiful view of the river. We were there to celebrate a birthday and the server made it a special experience. I also appreciated assistance with food selection due to a food allergy. I highly recommend Canoe for anyone wanting a really nice dining experience.

   Only giving 3 stars cause the food was okay. What makes this place win win and why I’d return is the ambiance, views and service. Ambience is so tranquil I will def be back to give it a try at dinner time.

   Beautiful restaurant, kept forgetting to take one of guest drink order and dinner order (he was the birthday guy and why we chose Canoe). 3/6 dinners food were cold, but plate was very hot. It’s uncomfortable to say “hey food is cold, but I’m hungry and I will just eat it”…we did share it and did not expect anything other to let you know. First time here for 4/6 in the group. Company was excellent and we were happy to get together.

    The food was excellent and staff was able to accommodate a few modifications from one of the 8 members of our party. Wait staff was initially attentive, but that dwindled as the evening progressed. Start to finish, it took 3 hours to eat. After finishing the main course, we waited a long time for our waitress to return to ask us about dessert, and a very long time for the desserts to arrive. Throughout the course of our meal, our waitress never asked if anyone would like additional drinks. The 4 star rating is based solely on service. The food deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer, the duck dish, and the pistachio pie!
