Heritage and innovation merge with menu selections such as Santa Rosa Barbacoa and Mexico City Enchiladas for lunch, and Carne Asada and Pollo Mole Poblano for dinner. Our bar features a wide variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and fresh margaritas and guests can sample one of more than 50 fine-aged, authentic tequilas.

As the only restaurant located along the canal-front in The Venetian and The Palazzo, Cañonita offers guests a unique opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the Grand Canal, with waterfront views of the resort's famous singing gondoliers. Outside, our Street Taqueria food truck recreates an essential element of Mexico City's culinary and cultural landscape, featuring a variety of street foods and house-infused margaritas.

Been eating here frequently since this restaurant opened up in 2000. Great Southwest flare, amazing views of the Venetians Grand Canal and gondolas -and amazing food and SERVICE!

Great experience. We arrived 30 min early and were still seated at a fabulous waterside table. The food. Fabulous. So fresh. The prices as expected reasonable. It was a sweet waitress who really loved the food who was so energetic and endearing. Will definitely go back. Plus we had ringside seats to the gondolas going by and singing. Win win.

This place never disappoints. Food is good from the chips and salsa to the rice and beans. The guacamole is so fresh and good portions. Tried the smoke chicken quesadillas and Santa Rosa Barbacoa and both were so good! The margarita sangria mixed drink is my favorite!

Very good service from Ramon. Food was pricey. Soup was good but no very warm. Entree was the Thanksgiving special. Corn bread was hard, the rest of the meal was good. They were out of the dessert special.

Great food.. food definitely appeared to be freshly made.. We had the Cazuela De Mariscos - that had mussels, clams, shrimp, and more. If you are a sucker for spice like we are.. remember to ask for the off menu spicy salsas.. both are amazing. But it must be said that with all the crazy crowds at the Venetian, it was the amazing and attentive service from Liz that really took the cake. She was really sweet and helpful with suggestions.

They gave people without reservation a better table than to us who reserved days before. Fajitas just unfrozen meet prep and lots of onions. Overpriced.
