   This restaurant was recommended by our concierge when we asked for a good place to get Milanese risotto. We figured it would be a touristy place- we were wrong and in the best possible ways! The Cantina is in a nice quiet neighborhood and served wonderful risotto, kind and efficient waiters (who were patient when I spoke in my infantile Italian), amazing house-made limoncello, and best of all- the place was filled with actual Italians, which I think is a great sign!

   The service was great. A lovely woman waited on us who has been there for over 20 years. The restaurant was near a playground filled with noisy children when we arrived at 6:45pm, but it settled down within 30 mins of our arrival.

   Excellent luncheon outside. Our service was amazing. The wine was wonderful. All of our dishes were exceptional but the lamb chops were to die for. Wow!

   Pasta was amazing! Risotto was very tasty, a bit crunchy for my taste. Service was excellent and ambiance very warm and cozy. I would go back.

   Our reservations were confirmed for a 4:30 PM early dinner. When we arrived, they were evidently not open for dinner and looked blankly at us when we showed them the reservation. No apology, just a blank look not knowing what to do.

    As this was NYE the menu seemed limited and pricey. £50 per head with wine. If you want authentic Italian top end trattoria this is the place. The food was excellent quality. The service from Raffaele was excellent too.
