We had such a lovely dinner for my boyfriends birthday. The girls placed us in a little nook part of the restaurant which made it more intimate. The carbonara and arancini’s were delightful. Service was 10/10. Would highly recommend.

Our experience started off well with delicious focaccia and warm olives… but then it took almost 40 minutes for our two pasta dishes to come, and one of them was cold when it got to the table. Our waitress never appeared again to check on how the first bites were. I’ve been excited to try Cantina Gia for a long time and regrettably we were disappointed. It’s a beautiful space, and a fun atmosphere for a night out but the food and our experience were subpar and we would not return again.

Menu has good offerings, although with our experience, they were not executed well on this visit. Risotto was soupy, squash mezzaluna pasta was undercooked, and one guest received an incorrect main course (pasta carbonara) which was overly seasoned with too much pepper. Interior design is attractive, although our table light level was a little too dark. Service was professional, attentive, and pleasant.

The food was perfect, starting with the Pecorino & Warm Olives and Focaccia, the Ceasar Salad, the Tuna Crudo and big wow for the pasta Creste Rigate & Sausage, for the pasta Canestri & Ragu Alla Nonna wasn't what we expected as usually 'Ragu' implies bolognese type sauce with hearty portion of meat, but there was almost no meat; the pasta looked like a macaroni and cheese. The ambiance and service were great. :)

The mushroom pasta was excellent. The Creste Rigate with sausage and rapini needed some balance. It tasted too much like sun-dried tomatoes. The pesto sauce that comes with the arancini is excellent. The dessert is overprice doe the quantity.

My sandwich was excellent and the salad was delicious, not too much dressing. I should mention the sandwich was porchetta with apple filling. It was a nice addition.
