Menu has good offerings, although with our experience, they were not executed well on this visit. Risotto was soupy, squash mezzaluna pasta was undercooked, and one guest received an incorrect main course (pasta carbonara) which was overly seasoned with too much pepper. Interior design is attractive, although our table light level was a little too dark. Service was professional, attentive, and pleasant.

The food was perfect, starting with the Pecorino & Warm Olives and Focaccia, the Ceasar Salad, the Tuna Crudo and big wow for the pasta Creste Rigate & Sausage, for the pasta Canestri & Ragu Alla Nonna wasn't what we expected as usually 'Ragu' implies bolognese type sauce with hearty portion of meat, but there was almost no meat; the pasta looked like a macaroni and cheese. The ambiance and service were great. :)

The mushroom pasta was excellent. The Creste Rigate with sausage and rapini needed some balance. It tasted too much like sun-dried tomatoes. The pesto sauce that comes with the arancini is excellent. The dessert is overprice doe the quantity.

My sandwich was excellent and the salad was delicious, not too much dressing. I should mention the sandwich was porchetta with apple filling. It was a nice addition.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ottawa, the foccacia and pastas, especially the rigatoni carbonara are amazing!
