   Dinner was not as good as it was the last two times we were there in August. We recognize it is off season but the meals were not as tasty as they were in August. The salad was all iceberg with two tomato’s, you can do better. Hope next year it will return to the Capitano’s we enjoyed this past summer.

   Since it's the end of the season it's unfair to be highly critical since LBI restaurants are short staffed and have no idea of visiting guests. With that said, bread and salad were great. Pasta and eggplant dishes were very good. Crabcakes looked delicious 😋.

   this was our 3rd time here & won't be coming back. the salad was overly dressed with vinegar.the appetizer we ordered had just run out, the potatoes on my entree were hard & inedible.wr ordered dessert thinking cheesecake was a safe choice, but it was gummy & unenjoyable

   The shrimp scampi was fresh and tasty and the rigatoni bolognese was hot and tasty as well. The view of the bay was nice but we did not care for the music they played.

   Food was great Staff was very attentive and responsive We had two last minute additions to our reservation and they jumped through hoops to accommodate keeping us informed while scrambling to find a large enough table. Waitress was great also. I strongly recommend

   Unfortunately, we did not even have the opportunity to taste our food. But, from the appetizer of a cold seafood salad, we knew we wouldn’t be missing much. We asked several times for both our salads and entrees to only be dismissed by both the waitress and the manager. We witnessed other larger parties come and go before we even received our salad. We declined our dinner and proceeded to leave as the check was also detained. Knowing that would get their attention, the waitress says “Let me see your credit card”. We said please let us see our check???? The manager and waitress were actually upset with us! The manager said, “Come on guys it will be right out just take it home.” We said no thank you and left. I’m sorry to say we cannot recommend or visit Capitano again. Our reservation was at 6:45 walked out at 8:10 and never got our entrees!

    Food was great and plentiful. Room is fine but a bit musty. Did not know BYOB. Price was great for LBI
