   La comida muy rica en especial los camarones al ajillo y los ostiones. Demasiado ruido, es difícil platicar. La música de bajo es muy intensa y rebota contra los cristales

   I eat here often and I just want it to be great. It’s not. It’s fine. Just ok. The menu is the problem. Come, you’ll find something to eat. It’ll be ok. Nothing will be bad.

   Una agradable experiencia la visita a Caracol de Mar, los alimentos bien pero sobretodo el servicio de la señorita que nos atendió fue cálido y a tiempo, el lugar es nuevo, ruidoso pero soportable , regreso por el servicio recibido.

   The restaurant space is lovely, set above the street with a view of the treetops. The food was perfect, the green avocado salad was bright and the red chile salsa has a deep roasted flavor. The Tina tostada was perfect, the warm tuna belly with vinaigrette was also perfect and you guessed it, the pescado a la plancha was prepared half red and half green seasoning and perfect! They had an extensive wine selection and were able to accommodate food allergies with ease.

   We were thrilled with the food, the service and vibe of Caracol de Mar. We started with the crab salad, then went into the red snapper prepared in a tangy tomato Provencal style, accompanied by the tempura vegetables. And if you haven't tried the excellent wines from the Guadalupe Valley, this place offers a number of them. After dinner we wanted to extend the evening and went downstairs to the open air bar for excellent cocktails. There we fell into conversation with a great couple of locals and closed the place. Altogether an excellent night in the Condesa neighborhood.

   Conocemos la sucursal del centro y llegamos a esta sucursal con altas expectativas, que horrible experiencia, el pequeño lugar tiene demasiadas mesas y está todo apretado, podía escuchar la plática de las mesas alrededor, los meseros me pegaron 5 veces al pasar a un lado de la mesa, las ventanas solo abren un poco hacia afuera y el calor se concentra demasiado y no hay aire acondicionado, el techo es de doble altura pero como está exageradamente lleno el calor es insoportable. Hablando del servicio es terrible, a pesar de que hay muchísimos meseros y es lo único que ves cuando volteas a tu alrededor no te dan buena atención, pedí tortillas 3 veces y hasta la cuarta vez que hablé con el encargado fue que las trajeron, mi platillo estaba frío cuando trajeron las tortillas, éramos 5 personas y a una de ellas le trajeron el trago hasta que estábamos con los platos fuertes, tardaron mucho, pedí una tostada de entrada y trajeron los platillos fuertes y esa tostada nunca llegó. Al parecer se dieron cuenta de que nos habían atendido mal porque al final nos mandaron dos postres de cortesía, pero desgraciadamente el mal ya estaba hecho. Nunca volveremos a ese restaurante
