Recently moved to Columbus and was given Carfagna’s store and restaurant as a recommendation. WOW and OMG, what a fabulous store and deli. Unbelievable selections of everything Italian anyone to hope for, and the wine store was second to none. We definitely made some purchases! Lastly, I took my family for dinner and we had an absolutely phenomenal dinner… Can’t wait to return soon!

The food was delicious! Lovely setting, however I wish the lighting was less harsh. A little more attention from waitress would have been nice.

This was the first time trying Carfagna. The food was decent but a next level “wow”. Our honest review for my wife and myself is that two major deficiencies was the lack of seasoning of the pasta water, and yes, pasta is better from salted water and lack of traditional flavor profiles in something as basic as pesto (undetectable garlic flavor). Using a philosophy like Olive Garden that their sauces bring enough flavor doesn’t lend to a complete flavor profile. The food was decent enough, but it could have been more. Perhaps our standards are higher than other reviews for this restaurant but growing up in an Italian, household, having the opportunity to go to Italy … the offerings were lacking for expectations.

This was our first time at their new location. There were a lot of changes since we had eaten at the old location. The menu has drastically changed (the one item i always got is not in the menu), prices were much higher, bread sticks no longer come with the meals. We had asked for iced tea, which they do not serve. Our reservation was at 4:45pm and we were done and out by 5:30pm. Overall, not the experience we were expecting for the price.
