   Booking was easy. It was quite noisy in the restaurant and it took a while to adjust to the surroundings as it felt a bit claustrophobic being up against the back wall. We were served quite soon after arrival but service was quite slow thereafter. The food was excellent (sea bass fillets and papardelle beef ragu), being very tasty and a good temperature. My coffee (Americano) was excellent, as was the draught Moretti beer. However, my wife's cappucino was tasteless and disappointing. We would definitely visit again (especially as there is 50% off mains if we go again within 4 weeks).

   Great flavour and service 😊 we got the valentine's menu and overpassed our expectations. Best arancini we have ever had. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We definitely would go back.

   Poor service. Disinterested, as if staff are doing you a favour. You have the strain to beckon staff for anything. Wasn’t even busy.

   Sadly on the day we visited it was not a calm and relaxing experience with members of staff arguing and a fight between customers breaking out outside the front of the restaurant. We have always enjoyed the Reading Restaurant as it’s away from the highstreet and other chain restaurants but sadly we have noticed standards slipping.

    Food was delicious, service amazing and great atmosphere. I’m gluten free and had a tasty seafood pasta. Highly recommended.
