M Sushi Cary is Michael Lee's second location dedicated to high-quality seafood. Our menu is small, purposeful, and uses only very special seasonal seafood received directly from Japan, Korea, and the US. The quality of our dishes is a direct result of our dedication to fresh ingredients, and our emphasis placed on maintaining traditional Japanese and Korean Cuisine. We specialize in traditional nigiri and sashimi courses in addition to a once in a lifetime Grand Omakase. M Sushi was ranked in 2022 in OpenTable's top 100 restaurants in American. Also, the only restaurant to make the list from North Carolina.

    Sitting at the sushi bar was a lovely experience. Our chef was charming and we enjoyed chatting with him about the various pieces of sushi we were served for our Omikase experience. Would absolutely recommend this as a birthday or anniversary dinner.

    Our server was awesome. The food was beautiful, fresh, and tasty. My personal favorite of what we ordered was the crispy rice roll.

    So outrageously priced for such average food from a very limited menu. The scallop “small plate” is an understatement - ONE scallop cut into 6 pieces! There are only about 5-6 special rolls and the Nigiri is also pretty limited and insanely overpriced for extra small servings. I don’t mind paying a lot for amazing food, but b/c they’re in Fenton they can justify these ridiculous prices for meh quality food. Will never go back. There’s a reason a place like Sushi Blues is still around - better off going there.
