   We had an excellent meal at Casa this evening. The food was delicious with an impressive range of meats and a really enjoyable salad bar. The atmosphere on a Sunday was perfect with a constant hubbub of happy diners. Nothing to fault.

   Went on recommendation and we were not disappointed! Great atmosphere, the place was buzzing on entering and the staff were friendly from start to finish. They say turn your card over to red when you need a break but don’t be fooled, they come at you regardless to make sure you try everything they offer from the skewers, it does calm down after a while though 😊 We skipped lunch the day we ate here and it proved to be a good strategy, unless you don’t like meat you will NOT leave hungry, and if you are hoping to squeeze in a cheeky dessert then don’t have chips and stick to the salad when you hit the buffet. Lots to choose from both hot and cold. We looked at some of the photos before we arrived and my husband did worry we would be sat on one long table but there was no need to be concerned as there were a number of tables set up for pairs or a few extra. The interior is quirky and offers a great dining experience. We will definitely be back when we next visit York. Great concept, we loved it and it made up for getting drenched earlier in the day in the weekends stormy weather. We had steak, gammon, sausage, chicken livers, chilli beef and lamb and they were all spot on. We noticed there was no salt and pepper on the table, after a while and realised why…you just don’t need it, each type of meat was full of flavour and perfection reached. Great meal to match a great weekend in our opinion. Go in hungry and you’ll go home satisfied for sure. Great restaurant with great staff. Thank you 🙏

   Absolutely 10 out of 10. Fantastic service throughout by everyone specially the guys bringing the meat out constantly and giving us good portions. Highly recommend

   What a superb Restaurant. First time dining and have already rebooked for May next year. Food amazing, meats cooked to perfection, salad and hot bar was delicious. Service excellent and lovely staff. Thank you.
