We were seated in a cold draft, the live harp/violin musician barely played during our time slot (subbed in with unpleasantly loud recorded music), food was not great (stale sandwiches, incorrect number of pastry items to serve the party evenly), tea was sloppily brewed, and there was much spilling when it was poured, including on my mother’s arm and jacket. I wanted to love this so much, but I was disappointed. You can’t argue with the ambiance but…

It was a wonderful experience of high tea . Not a great fan of the menu served for high tea . But overall love the experience. We had to wait 45 minutes for a pre-booked reservation which was a little disappointing.over all had a great time . Serves were excellent, ambience fantastic .

This was nothing we expected , it was packed to the brim with ppl. We were told we had to hurry up. The service was not good, having to ask for things repeatedly. Looked nothing, I mean nothing as advertised. It was a set menu. We each got 5 appetizers bites, 2 of which I didn’t eat. The whole experience was Sub-par at best. I’d never recommend this, especially for $75.00/pp. We could have had a much better experience at a nice restaurant. We’ll never return here, nor recommend this. They were feeding the masses, the vibe was awful. Too busy

Wonderful Mother’s Day high tea. The experience was great, really lovely! Glad the price of the experience included admission to tour the castle because overall think the price was higher than necessary. Don’t know if I would do the whole experience again soon, but for a one time thing was worth the splurge. Great service, very prompt and helpful, food was delicious and plentiful, and atmosphere was beautiful.

We went for the High Tea for the first time at Casa Loma and won't be back again. We have been to many other places that do High Tea and one thing that all the others have in common is that they serve lots of more sandwiches than what Casa Loma does. The desert trays with the scones didn't have clotted cream or jam. Considering the price for this I am quite disappointed.

We enjoyed Casa Loma’s Mother’s Day high tea — the setting was beautiful and the addition of live harp music made it feel extra special. A lovely surprise was the pair of actors dressed as an old couple who visited each table with warm Mother’s Day wishes — such a charming touch! The food was good, though not quite the best we’ve had for afternoon tea in Toronto. Still, a memorable experience overall in a truly unique venue.

The anticipation for this premium Easter brunch, promising a 'fantastic' experience, was sharply contrasted by the profoundly disappointing reality. Our pre-booked reservation was immediately disregarded, subjecting us to a frustrating and lengthy wait before reaching an unprepared table. The subsequent service was practically non-existent; no staff offered any insight into the supposed 'Easter experience' – which was conspicuously absent. No festive decor, no thematic food – just a sterile, overpriced brunch. While the venue had inherent charm, it was marred by overcrowding and overwhelming noise. The visibly strained and ill-informed staff struggled with basic menu inquiries, highlighting a clear lack of preparedness. Adding insult to injury, food and dessert options dwindled prematurely, and the remaining desserts were exceptionally poor. This was not the premium Easter brunch advertised and paid for. It was a poorly executed, overpriced affair that failed to meet even basic expectations of service and ambiance. The significant disparity between the promised experience and the stark reality leaves a strong sense of having been profoundly misled. Consequently, a full refund is the only equitable resolution for this substantial failure to deliver the advertised service.

The buffet food was great but they were running out of certain things. The staff was completely overwhelmed and not very helpful. We were assigned a table 3 times before sitting. Then waited 20 for just water. At least we could help ourselves to food. Be able to roam the castle while waiting for a table was awesome. But we they didn't have a table ready until 45 mins after out time slot. Glad we went just for the unique castle experience but service was among the worst I ever seen. Food was all you can eat and castle admission was included so it was still a decent value.
