   We had an 8:45 reservation thru Open Table. When we sat down we were told the kitchen was closing and the waiter listed the things they did not have...why did they take this reservation? They did not even refill our water...sadly out of habit we tipped 20%. I would never go back or recommend Casa Tua but I will say the tables were nicely set and the cavatelli was good.

   We love Casa Tua and eat here every time we are in town. The food is delicious and creative, the ambience is charming and the staff are friendly and endlessly attentive without being obtrusive.

   The food here was so good that we returned for lunch the next day and my daughter got the same dish (Ricotta Cavaelli). For dinner, I had the Homemade Buccatini Cacio e Pepe and for lunch, the Prosciutto e Mozzarella panino. The Cacio e Pepe was amazing. The panino was good but the fries had a strange taste to them, like they were fried in oil that had been used for something else with a strong flavor. We sat both inside (for dinner) and outside (for lunch) and the ambiance was lovely both times. I bit more formal-feeling at dinner, although I was wearing a pair of cut-off jean shorts and no one batted an eye at my casual attire. For the portion sizes, the prices felt a bit high, but I suppose that is to be expected in Aspen. The fall colors were gorgeous, so the views from the outdoor seating area at lunch were spectacular.

   Had dinner here a few nights before and was outstanding. Brought our friends this time and arrived on time at 9pm … as we walked in we were greeted and they told us we had 5 - 10 minutes to order as the kitchen was closing What a joke! I advised online it showed they were open until 11pm and why would you allow us to book a 9pm reservation at kitchen closing tjme and he responded that all of Aspen will be asleep before 11pm? Very off putting…. We made the best of it and our server was actually lovely and did what she could to make the meal enjoyable and not rushed but it was and out of her control. Management handled this terribly and lost our business for the future. Back to Acquolina from now on, they would never treat us that way. We redirected about 5 couples at our hotel to Acquolina instead of casa tua.    Hello, While we do regret that you had a negative experience with us, we do want to clear a couple of things up. Your reservation was originally scheduled for a half-hour prior to when you actually arrived at the restaurant. Our manager on duty did in fact tell you that we would have absolutely no problem accommodating you, and that you could sit and dine with us as long as you wished, however, with our posted hours as closing at 9:30PM, it is perfectly reasonable to have politely asked to expedite your food orders, as you did arrive late, quite close to our closing time. As it shows here, you did end up dining with us until 11:45pm that evening. There is nowhere online that shows our hours as closing at 11pm. We are glad that you enjoyed your food and your server provided great service.

    Sitting a table of children at 8:30pm next to our table was not ideal. They ruined the ambience as they were singing and shouting the entire time. Food is sub par nothing special
