   The service and atmosphere were great. My eggs Benedict was not good and the hollandaise sauce had completely separated. My friend’s fish sandwich was good, but was literally a fried fish filet on a bun with no condiments or accompaniments. I would expect better food from such a beautiful place.

   We only enjoy fine dining for a special occasion. My wife has been wanting to visit The Kentucky Castle for quite some time, so we decided to go for her birthday. The quality of the ingredients were great, however poor plating and execution made this the one of the worst "fine dining" experiences we've had. We started off with Mussels, which were fantastic. We though that would be a sign of good things to come. Unfortunately, we were wrong. My wife ordered the Wagyu Ribeye, the steak had virtually no sear and although the quality and temperature were good, it was the only hot item on the plate. The pureed potatoes were cold and slapped on the plate, the green beans were also cold and overcooked. My Lamb "Chops" were a Lamb Chop that was on the smaller side, and it wasn't a good cut. The Server was great, however she was given too many tables that were spread all across the dining room, one of which was a large party that was running her non-stop. When she had time, she was lovely. The stars of the show, oddly enough, were the Weisenburger Grits and the Smores dessert. After we were finished, my wife said we should have just bought some ribeye from Whole foods and cooked it ourself. Bad ending for an expensive birthday dinner.

   If I was being picky, it seemed like every table around us had some sort of issue resulting in their food/drinks to be delayed or sent back. This resulted in a long wait (30-40 minutes) for the food. However, the atmosphere was great. Hostess was amazing. Very clean. We’ll be back for sure. The Mac and cheese should come in a bottomless option. Emily, Jordan, and Garyn are top notch.

   The food is as overpriced and the experience was over rated. $60 for dry fried chicken is ridiculous! KFC WAS BETTER THEN THAT! Surprisingly, there not much to see inside the castle and it’s a small dinning area.

   Shawn was not only an amazing bartender/server but he was so sweet and willing to share his knowledge of the area! If we lived closer we would definitely come back! Thanks Shawn for making our experience so memorable!

   My 10yr old daughter and I had dinner there and not only did our waitress, Krista, make our experience wonderful with her perfect suggestions, she was attentive and kind. The food was absolutely superb! Hands down the best meal I may have ever eaten! Toby’s bread and pumpkin butter was absolutely to die for and the pork chop was insanely juicy and flavorful! And the sweet potato hash and Brussels were addicting! This was my first experience there but most certainly not my last!

   Me and my wife had dinner and stayed at the Castle. It was really nice, Jordan was the best bartender. Highly recommend.

   Excellent food and atmosphere. My wife and I were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We stayed at the castle and had both breakfast and dinner there. Both meals were great. We'd love to go back sometime when the weather is warmer so we could explore the grounds more. Highly recommended.

   This was our second experience at the Castle. The food was terrific and the staff outstanding. We had brunch at our last visit and had a seemingly less experienced wait staff at that time. This time, however, we had an outstanding overall experience and we will recommend to others!
