   We had a great time at the Century House! Our waiter, Austin was very friendly! He was really busy and as attentive as he could have been. The food was outstanding! Price was a little high, but understandable due to the current times we live in. Desserts were outstanding too! Thank you for an incredible experience on Easter Sunday!

   The Food was great but the time it took was very slow we waited over 1-1/2 hrs for our food and then longer for desert and to get our check. Not a place to go on holidays

   Eating out on holidays can bee extremely chaotic but our dinner at Century Inn was truly a fine dining experience. We traveled 2.5 hours to get there and had a delicious and relaxed meal that felt unrished and expertly prepared. We thank the entire staff who worked hard to make a lovely holiday for our family.

   My wife and I went to The Century House in Latham, NY for Easter dinner. Very good to excellent experience. No waiting. (We arrived about 10 minutes prior to our scheduled reservation time.) Our waiter (Steve) was extremely professional and attentive. The food (specials for Easter) was delicious in all regards. Although there were many choices in each course, we both had the prime rib dinners (which included assorted spring vegetables, mashed potatoes, au jus gravy, horseradish sour cream sauce, and popovers. Before this, we both selected the lobster bisque as an appetizer. Dinner rolls and butter were also provided. Finally, we chose desserts: me, creme brule; my wife, a key lime tart. Each complete dinner was a fixed-price of $65, well worth it for its completeness, quality, and quantity (we both brought home enough for another small meal). And I've heard from other friends that even regular dinners are equally as good. The one drawback was the slowness of service, perhaps understandable considering the restaurant was very busy and it was a holiday.

   The Century House did not disappoint!! We were in town for only one night and we chose well. The food was excellent, great wine list, amazing wait staff, very comfortable setting with a good fire going. We will definitely be back next time we are in Latham!!

   The Century House was very good! We ate there during their Restaurant Week and the food was delicious with full-sized portions. They were very kind to seat us in a more quiet area, and the ambiance was nice. Likke many restaurants, they are short-staffed; our waiter did his best under difficult circumstances. However, he forgot what I ordered and brought the wrong entree, which he quickly rectified. Writing down orders would result this issue.

    We were visiting to take part of the restaurant week but found that the special pricing wasn't much different from the standard menu pricing; however, adding the soup/salad & dessert for only $10 more made it a "deal". It was busy and kind of loud for the early part of our meal but our server (only 1 of 2 for a full restaurant) was calm and efficient while being quite friendly. She was clearly working hard last night but her demeanor did not slip. It had been a while since we visited but are so glad that we did venture out on a nasty night. Thank You
