    10/10. A little pricey but worth it. Get the tiramisu and the funghi sauce with any pasta!! Will be my go-to for italian in sd!

    This was the best meal we’ve had in San Diego after a year and a half. We got the cesarina salad, which was very light, ate tooooo much focaccia, and thoroughly enjoyed our lasagna and pasta! They were very attentive with refilling water, and quickly came to check if we needed more drinks after finishing our cocktails (also fantastic)! Last, we split the cannoli and tiramisu which was just absolutely fantastic. Our server was very helpful and remembered food allergies throughout. We are so happy we made it out!!

    As predicted, Cesarina always steps up to the plate. Negroni’s are outstanding & I am at a loss for words describing the amazingly delicious food. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to return for another outstanding meal.

    My partner and I came in very early for dinner (as was the only reservation available) and had such a special meal. We were seated on the back patio which is decorated wonderfully with plants and colorful ambiance. We started with two incredible cocktails— a mezcal Negroni and kiwi cocktail. The kiwi was the BEST cocktail my partner has ever had! we got complimentary bread when we sat down which was delicious. Then, we started with the octopus which was a divine texture and a perfect mix of sweet and spicy. For entrees we shared papardelle with ragu and the gnocchi with fungi sauce. Both decadent, rich, and delicious. Very authentic food with beautiful flavor and a kind and lovely staff to boot! Our lovely server was so kind and informative. Lastly a lovely tiramisu which was prepared tableside! A really special experience, and hope to be back soon!

    Worse food and service ever. Avoid it if you can. Kitchen crew don’t know what they are doing. Service guys too disorganized.

    Such a wonderful time celebrating my husbands birthday! The food was AMAZING and they even took a cute Polaroid picture of us and brought a surprise dessert! Will be back to celebrate all our fun days! Thank you for the best experience Cesarina 🤍

    Amazing and attentive staff who work flawlessly together to deliver an incredible meal. The wine selection was excellent and the food amazing. I would a preferred a skosh less salt I'm the Funghi sauce... but am guessing lots of people like saltier food than me. We will be back !!!
