The Charcoal Steak House is an independent local steakhouse serving the Waterloo region community for over 65 years. Enjoy AAA Steaks, richly marbled wagyu, slow roasted prime rib, fresh seafood, mouth-watering pig tails, legendary smoked ribs and more. At lunch we feature an extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, bowls and healthy salad choices.

Sundays are made for Brunch from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Our Martinis Bar with summer patio offers the full Steak House menu or light meals in a more casual setting. Enjoy appetizers, a full meal, 20 beers on tap and beautiful outdoor seating area in summer.

This is our second time in two months, and the experience did not disappoint. This time the table had steak, prime, rib, chicken, Madeira, and seafood risotto, all were amazing.

Our mouth was watering for ribs and a trip down memory lane. Service was great but the ribs were very dry. Disappointing!

Literally one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our server was unbelievable. She made the entire experience top level. I will return!!!
