Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     Dined here for our wedding anniversary and Charley's lived up to its reputation. Exceptional food, service was personable and genuine. We opted for the surf and turf for two, and it was amazing. Charley's will continue to be our go-to restaurant for special occasions.

    Great dinner with friends. Wife’s birthday and of course Charlie’s made her feel special. Steaks and Fried Lobster tasted outstanding. Finished the evening with Brownie and Maple ice cream, one was enough for four to share. John our waiter did an excellent job taking care of us. My favorite Steakhouse in Tampa.

    There is a section of the restaurant I like to sit in and it didn’t start sitting at the reservation time - they made an accommodation and sat us there . Our waiter Bill went above and beyond. Charley’s makes every dinner a memory. It’s why I keep going back there every couple of months.

    Charley’s is our go-to when we are in Tampa. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The Bison Ribeye was perfectly prepared, the baked potato was one of the best we’ve ever had. We sat at the bar, and were somewhat disappointed with the service. We typically choose to sit at the bar when we go to Charley’s because the bartenders are always great—super informative, friendly and helpful. Last night something was missing with the service we received. Again, the food was remarkable as always.

    The salad that came with the meal looked like it was a week old. They brought a new one out but it looked just as old and Wilty With the price of the meal, I expect fresh salads. Also the CORKING FEE was $50.00. The dinner was way overpriced for the experience. We will not go back .

    I had an amazing experience at Charley's Steak House! The customer service from Kelli was top-notch. I was completely impressed with Kellie's knowledge of the meat presentation. The food selection exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Kelli!!

    We celebrated a birthday this past weekend. Everything was so nice . The food was delicious. We had two filets plus a lobster tail. Everything was so delightful. Our server Kelly was very good. She checked on us numerous times to see if we needed anything. Charley's is great for a date night or anytime. Delicious!
