Me and my family enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day brunch at Charr'd. The food was great, the ambiance was fabulous, and the service was excellent.

This Mother's Day brunch was not much more than the free breakfast that is usually offered at mid-priced hotels. With the exception of salmon, string beans and desserts, it was all breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, omelets, etc. The pastries appeared to be store-bought. The few desserts looked like they were defrosted. The salmon seemed aged and the green beans were cold. If it were just a free hotel breakfast, it would have been very good. But for $36 per person, it was awful. And to add a 20% gratuity onto a buffet and provide slow service, well that was the icing on the cake. And no, I didn't speak to management simply because the mother that we were celebrating asked me not to.

Very nice place. We were a little on the fence with it being in a hotel but they did really well with ambience, food and service. Very busy making service a little slow but not so slow that it was an issue. It was Valentine’s Day after all. Still I would go back and refer it to friends and family.

Their Valentines special was more expensive than ordering off their normal menu and there were no extra perks.

They were not prepared for Valentine’s Day. Food was ok, but seating was frigid (everyone in sight kept their coats on). Service was quite poor, as they were grossly understaffed. For example 20 minutes to get drinks. As with all hotel restaurants, prices are egregiously high for what you get. $220 for an unremarkable dinner for 2 (tip included) with one drink each!

Understanding that a fixed menu was necessary on Valentine's Day, the options were more limited than I would expect. Prime ribeye was tough and fatty. "Medium" cook order came out quite bloody when only a small amount of pink should have been present. Salmon was tasty, risotto was bland. Our server was friendly, but each stage of the meal took longer than expected.

Pleasantly surprised how nice dinner was. We tried Charr'd for Valentines date night. I'm glad they are now on Open Table. We will be back

The service was good, but the food was average. And there is a limited cocktail menu for Bourbon drinkers.
