   We have never had a bad experience at Chart House in Cardiff. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary there and it was a great time!

   Went for lunch and ordered the Chicken cobb salad. It was good. The Chicken Cesar salad was really good with homemade dressing. The view of the ocean was amazing. The service was great!

   My two cents, and I were probably the youngest people in the restaurant. The food was overpriced, but we enjoyed the view. We won’t go back.

   Service was mediocre - server missed items repeatedly, soup not warm, extra plates not placed for sharing, forgetting bread, etc Food was fine Although location is amazing and views are spectacular the restaurant itself lacked ambiance. Lighting inadequate for a seafood/steak restaurant, too open and reminiscent of an average eating establishment.

   Food was wonderful. We had fish and prime rib, I thoroughly enjoyed the prime rib and my husband’s black cod was excellent also. Server was great, but other support staff could have been more attentive. Dishes sat around after eating and water were not refilled promptly-had to ask several times. At this caliber restaurant I hope for better service. There were also 5-6 booths unbussed when we arrived and we had to wait 10 minutes to be sat. I didn’t see anyone leave, but I saw waitstaff not carrying anything as they passed by-this needs to be addressed so atmosphere remains stellar to match the food. Beautiful view. Food was very good.

   When we arrived, they could not find our reservation. That was the only problem. Personally, I think the hostess missed it

    We had a 12:00 reservation. Were seated at a table that was already available when we walked in. Yet we’re not seated for 20 minutes after! Ordered surf and turf eggs benny, both orders eggs over cooked. Ordered fresh “poached” eggs for the two plates. French dip cold, birthday dessert skimpy. Disappointing for a birthday lunch!!
