   Worst night ever! Had a reservation at 7:30pm and noted my daughter’s Birthday. When we arrived the place was packed and told it would me 30 minutes wait. My husband check at 8:00pm and was told there were 16 people head of us. I check at 8:20pm and told them my daughter had an early flight, after another 5 minutes are so we were seated. Waited took for ever and said I heard we had a Birthday. Everything took forever and had to pour or own wine as we order a bottle and the waiter just set it on the table. Our steaks were cold and it was 10:3pm by the the time we paid. No manager ever came over and apologized for the wait, nor did the waiter and did not bring a dessert out for my daughter’s birthday. So disappointed about the whole night experience and don’t expect to return anytime soon.

   First, let me say I think we went on an off-night. We show up a little early for our reservation (10 mins), but we’re sat 30 minutes after our reservation time. Not really a big deal. However, as we’re waiting, the couple next to us are telling us a story how they went to the bar and couldn’t get a drink. Seems like it wasn’t just us and everything was running behind. Our name gets called and…our table already has someone sitting there (this one was overlooking the water view). He takes us back to the waiting area. Comes back for us about 3 minutes later and…that table has someone sitting at it. Third time, he finds us a four-seater table as far as we could possibly get from the view. Ok, fine. Our waiter was really great, very friendly and was able to provide us a lot of info about the menu. However, drinks and appetizer took awhile to come. Entree too. Dessert (which we ordered when we ordered our food to save us time) took awhile. The whole dining experience lasted 3 and a half hours, mostly with us waiting. The food was delicious though. Everything we ate exceeded expectations. The only wait that was acknowledged was how long it was taking for our drinks to come. Others in earshot complained and were given free drinks, etc. Sometimes, it really is the squeakiest wheel. Would I come back again? Yea, maybe. I’m curious if something just went wrong in the service last night and it was a fluke. But, even with how good the food is, if I encounter a similar experience the next time…it’s going to be a pass for me. There’s too many delicious restaurants in the area.

   Chart house Dear Management Team, I hope this message finds you well. I have been a loyal guest of CH since I was a child, and your restaurant has always held a special place in my heart for consistently providing exceptional service, outstanding food, and wonderful memories with family and friends. That is why I am writing to you today — out of both respect and genuine disappointment. Last night, I visited to celebrate a very special occasion: my mother and her twin brother’s birthday. We had made a reservation well in advance and had also requested a few custom menu details to make the evening even more memorable. However, the experience fell significantly short of the high standards I have always associated with your establishment. Despite our reservation, we waited over 40 minutes to be seated, which was unexpected and uncomfortable, especially considering the occasion. When it came to the custom requests for our celebration, the details we had carefully planned were either missed or not communicated clearly, which was disheartening. Most notably, two of the filet mignon steaks we ordered — typically a highlight of any meal at your restaurant — were not cooked properly. While the service from our server remained as impeccable as ever, the overall experience felt unlike the CH I have known and loved for so many years. Given the significance of the evening and the cost of the dinner, I left feeling very disappointed, which is something I never imagined happening at your restaurant. I share this feedback with you not to complain, but in the hope that you can address these issues and perhaps offer a resolution. This place has always been synonymous with excellence in my mind, and I would love to continue recommending and celebrating with you in the future. Thank you for your time and attention.    This restaurant never disappoints. The setting is amazing and the food and service excellent. We come for our grandchildren's 13th BDs and they love it. It is very special!

   What a delightful dinner. Miso glazed black cod and their signature soufflé espresso martini. Our meals were prepared perfectly. Just enough miso sauce, veggies and tasty black cod. Their handmade soufflé espresso martini was hand crafted and delicious. Our server was helpful and on point. The views in the restaurant are superb.
