   We dined twice at the Chart House on our trip to Monterey for my birthday and had a wonderful experience both nights. We had a lovely window table both nights, two fabulous dinners and both nights Ashley was our wait person who made the evenings so much more enjoyable. The complementary chocolate mud pie for dessert was the finishing touch to a memorable evening. Definately will return on our next trip.

   I guess one thing we were a bit disappointed is that we were not asked to be sit at window seat. we had our reservation and we were pretty early for the day, so most of the seats are open. We could add a note to our reservation, but it would be better if the host asks us that when we arrived. That would be something maybe put into consideration to make the dinning experience more pleasant. Thanks.

   Food was amazing! The best lobster bisque I ever had we even took an extra one to go, chicken was so tender, beautiful view. Service was outstanding.

   I was very unhappy with my meal while dining at the Chart House. I ordered the Sea Bass which smelled fishy and was not flavorful at all. I saw the Chef at the table next to me as they had a complaint about a crab cake. I asked him about my Asian Green Beans as they were my side order and looked overcooked - they were beyond wilted. He said they deep fry them and that's how they are served. Who deep fries vegetables which I thought would be healthy but I stopped eating them after I found out they were deep fried?!? I was quite disappointed with my dinner.

   It’s been years since I dined at a Chart House. Tonight was an impulse decision, I was in the area. Well, for such a large restaurant that was almost full when I arrived the experience was amazing. The service was beyond friendly efficient and professional. My server made me feel like I was the only person in the room. Now, the food, every course was prepared perfectly. My filet perfect medium rare, wonderful taste and a large tender lobster tail. All I can say it will not be years before I return. Quality food at a great value, attentive service. Was I surprised, yes. That is no reflection on the Chart House, it’s my misfortune for not returning sooner. Old school charm new school menu and a friendly staff. Book a table, now, you will thank me!!!

   Wow when we arrived at our table, there were 2 sea otters playing right outside our window. William our server was delightful and very accommodating. Our food was perfectly prepared.

   We loved the food, the view and the service was outstanding. only missing item was flowers on the table, it was Easter Sunday :-)
