Welcome to Château Carbide, a rooftop winter escape, just for you. See our inimitable seasonal style in full display, where luxurious, private lodges dot the rooftop scene, each adorned with cozy fireplaces and plush, intimate seating for up to 5 guests. Snack on a winter-inspired small bites including a French onion grilled cheese and sip seasonal cocktails while taking in the stunning city-wide views of Chicago and all its snowy splendor.

My best friend and I booked a table in the winter lodges at sunset and it was beautiful and the food and drinks were so yummy. The fire and blanket kept us pretty warm for a very cold night too thanks!

Even if you only experience this winter outdoor dining only once in your lifetime, you should! It is beautiful outside surrounded by the downtown Chicago skyline! You stay warm and cozy long enough to enjoy a meal and drinks. It’s a wonderfully unique experience!

We went for cocktails and an appetizer to the outdoor rooftop bar. The drinks were well made and waffle frites with melted Brie were good. The booth was cozy with a fire pit and blankets.

The food and service were excellent! \ The "Heated Lodge" that we paid extra for was a lean-to with an inefficient fire table at the open end. It was impossible to stay warm inside. It is now clear why they do not show pictures of it. Very disssapointed that we paid extra for this.

The concept is really nice, however The waitstaff was unpleasant and not attentive to our small group on the roof. We waited too long for our order to be taken and then even longer to get another drink or order food.

Service was almost nonexistent. Had to flag down our waiter multiple times. When we were done, waited over 20 minutes for someone to stop by to ask for the bill. We eventually had to go to the hostess stand. They weren’t sure how to help and suggested we wait for our waiter. Very disorganized. We received a wrong item when ordering too.

Menu food options were lacking. Ordered fries and the server said they didn't have any ketchup. The winter lodges could have been warmer. Overall, it was just ok but wouldn't recommend this place over others in the city.
