   Nice that the brunch menu has added two omelet choices in addition to old favorites and lunch choices for those who are not egg-oriented.

   Always a dependable neighborhood spot for good food and lively atmosphere. Service is always good. One of our go-to faves for lunch with friends or dinner on the lovely patio in warmer weather. You can always count on having an enjoyable delicious meal here.

   We chose for Valentines because of the lovely ambiance. Food varied from excellent to very disappointing: hummus and tuna poke bowl were great, cocktails and blackened salmon were well below what we've come to expect. The bacon old fashioned sounded delicious, and just the smoke from charred bacon over the drink would have been. Instead the bacon flavor overpowered the whole cocktail. Perhaps a lesson learned for us. I should have canceled my order for the salmon when the server said the chef recommends to cook it medium (!), but I didn't. And so I got an already bland piece of fish covered with enough heavy flavors - potatoes, onions, mustard and more - to overwhelm any good aspects of the fish. I even wondered if this day old fish that didn't get used in another dish the day before. The service was slightly over attentive, ready to take orders and dishes too quickly. And they did the too-common fault of bringing the espresso so long before the dessert that the coffee was no longer fresh and hot.

   Our waitress was particularly good at serving us and making us comfortable. She was a tall woman and had been a student at AU. Brown Hair. Her parents were both teachers. I think she was from San Diego??

    Servers were very attentive. Menu was varied but not too large. The cauliflower appetizer, the brussels appetizer and the focaccia bread were wonderful! Noise level was perfect. There were 5 of us and we could hear each other without raising our voices. Hope to come back soon!
