   Based on previous experience, I took my partner there on Valentine's Day: I had high expectations-and was certainly not disappointed! Great service, wonderful food, great ambience-I will surely be back!!

   Booked a month ahead for Valentine's, rocked up and was forced to go with their Valentine's menu that had no prices on it. And no waitors attempted to explain the setup either. Severely understaffed. Took 10mins to get noticed after we were sat down. And 30+mins to get the bill. Food was delish, but nothing too special. Ended up being charged $129 each for a main, entree and dessert that had us wanting more. Disappointed overall

   Hidden French gem! Fantastic food and service -- it was a lovely night out. The duck breast was cooked to perfection and the steak tartare was the best I've had in Melbourne. We were all so satisfied that we simply couldn't fit dessert. We will definitely be back.

   Been eating here for years. Excellent food, nice staff, always,new faces. would really appreciate keeping more veg side dishes.Green beans are back and have carrot mash.But carrot mash only while addition to a special, so wont be there all the time. Some sort of permanent carrot side would be great. Dont eat potato or chips.

   Regulars at this restaurant. Authentic French bistro with a stable menu of the expected faves. Excellent service and the food is good. I particularly enjoy the Mussels Cocotte. Wine list is ok to good - a few nice wines by the glass - and BYO on early weekdays for $20 ( seems fair!) Prices are also reasonable so overall - recommended!

   Food 8/10, we really enjoyed it! but the service overshadowed the entire evening. A few examples of the non-existent service. Ordered the 2020 Bernadin at $155, told it was not available we only have the 2022, waitress told they would take a few $ off, NO when the bill arrived, I was charged extra, Couldn't' get the wine decantered, when we finally did, we poured the entire wine ourselves except for the last glass. Bread arrived after the entree's were on the table and as soon as the entree's were cleared our mains arrived, no asking if we were ready. We could not communicate with the staff, when we asked for clarity on some of the menu items as we had a person with us with a significant nut allergy, it was impossible! Overall, a very disappointing birthday evening, when paying over $170 per head the value was just not there by comparison to your competition, hope this helps you improve your service levels.    Lovely and friendly staff - first night open after Christmas vacation. Still wonderful French favourites, and even though best lobster soup and favourite dessert not available on first opening day, so much effort to accommodate our requests. Requested table available for us, so very happy experience all round with friend visiting from Sydney.

   Attended for NYE dinner with my partner. Not sure the prix fixe was the best value for money based on portions and quality, for the price have had a full degustation at other venues, but that's expected on NYE. Meals served quickly, like we were there an hour-ish at most, and staff were friendly enough. Limited wine and cocktail menu but all reasonably price. We were sat at the base of the stairs between dining room and bar, very little ambiance. Would try again, possibly on a non-event night.
