I recently went to Chiquito on Riverside in Norwich with my family, to celebrate Father's Day. The food was excellent, with everyone enjoying the meal. All four of us chose a different meal and they were all good. Personally, I went for the Chicken Enchiladas with the hot sauce. Although on reflection, I should have probably gone up to the hottest sauce, as it was not as hot as I'd expected. My daughter had the chilli beef tacos with the mild sauce, which was hotter. The tortilla chips starter was delicious. Sombreros were on hand for those that wanted to get in to the Mexican vibe. So we did. The restaurant was clean and presentable and the service was friendly and attentive. The only negative was when we requested the bill. It was a little slow to come and then we had an even longer wait for someone to take our payment. This can often be a frustration in restaurants. Although Chiquito do have a system where you are able to pay at your table using their App. As it wasn't busy at all when we asked for the bill, we shouldn't have had to wait so long. A minor gripe as overall we were very pleased with our visit. I can certainly recommend the Mexican Mess dessert!
