   Lighting seemed brighter than normal, maybe a bit too bright. Food was wonderful and server Henry was excellent! Attentive but not intrusive. Friendly. Chive Blossom is a favorite!!!

   We celebrated an 80th birthday with a friend. From beginning to end, our experience was top-notch. Our server Kim was incredible! Love Chive Blossom!

   Simply the best. Great personable waitress and great food. Ate in the outside garden. It was awesome.

   We seem to have mixed experiences at Chive over the past year. Food is always super good (which is why we go back). Cannot say the same for the service, however. Last visit it was a rude hostess and this visit it was the strange timing. Appetizers came out before the drinks or the bread service (wasn't really a bad thing, just odd) and when the entrees arrived, they were just warm enough to not send back (not hot by any stretch) and it looked like they had been sitting longer than they should have (fish appeared dry and not recently plated). We will still go back because we love the food but hope they address the service issues.
