Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavor to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy.     Food took over an hour to come, mine was like warm, ordered a filet steak, didn’t have time to send it back, everything took so long we were late for the hockey game. Not impressed.

    We love the Chop. However, the service was not very good. We had a reservation at 4 was not busy as we get busy with the Oilers game. Most of our service had some kind of issue from drinks to food. The food was great! We bought gift cards online that took forever to try and get them cashed in. They can’t do it at the table. Then told me one did not work. I asked for the manager and it was corrected. We missed the warmup because it took so long.

    Got to Chop late Sunday was very quiet ordered off Happy Hour menu and food was great. Server was very accommodating and nice. Was a nice evening with my wife and kids.

    I was very disappointed in Chop downtown Our reservation was mid handed and they tried to sit us at the bar. The cocktails were poorly made and not mixed. The appetizers looked as if they had been sitting a long time at the pass prior to being served Our entree order was mid handed and took and extraordinarily long time. When it arrived the food was cold. Sorry to say , extremely disappointed in what was supposed to be a premium experience

    Had a reservation but no reserved table, server was run off her feet so we got forgotten about a few times, drinks, the bill, packaging up leftovers etc.
