An in-house Tallow aged steak - a Chef selected ribeye encased in rendered steak trimmings, then aged for 60 days and handcut to perfection. The Chophouse has a full bar with a wide variety of spirits hand selected by our award-winning bar staff. And an on-premise Wine Sommelier that will help pair your menu selection with the best wine from our extensive menu to please your palate.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Chophouse. Wine was great as were the appetizers. Our son enjoyed his duck and we loved our steaks. My FIL did have to return his for proper cooking and it was promptly corrected. Outstanding service.

    Nice size and very clean restaurant. The steak was great and they had a few specials in the $30 price range. I would definitely go again and the staff was great as well.

    Spoke with the manager, Jessica, and she was very nice. Offered a gift certificate but I truly do not feel we will return. We were excited about the menu changes but the food was poorly cooked and we were not able to eat several of the meals. They did not return to our table to even request if we wanted another adult beverage. They did not have many people on Sunday but we waited 1 1/4 hr before I meal was brought to our table. Two of the 7 meals were the childrens menu and extra salad for the children. The adult orders were….burned pork chop, butcher cut steak cooked well done. Both of those were requested medium rare. The pork chop was difficult to cut and was not “chewable”…the steak was so well done…no flavor. The salmon dish was ok. The crusted tuna was the only properly prepared dish! Very sad because Chapin needs a a little upscale restaurant. Again, the manager was nice but the food and service was not even a tad acceptable.

    Best yet. Love the new summer menu including the steak boards. Blueberry salad also delicious. Did not care for the cheesecake or the chocolate cake. Both were dry.

    Enjoy this place over other steakhouses because you get a full meal, not a steak on a plate unless you buy more sides. However, the food is never hot, just barely warm when arrives at table. Steaks are usually undercooked so order more cooked than you usually would.

    Me and my husband have been to Chophouse twice now and both times were amazing. Great food and service. We will keep coming back to enjoy it all! The steakbite appetizer, wedge salad and smoky pineapple margarita were our favorites!
