   We celebrated 2 birthdays here and from the time we entered until the end of our meal, everything and everyone was above our expectations. It was our first time to visit Choplin’s, but have heard so many wonderful things from friends so we decided to make the trip from South Charlotte and so glad we did! It was everything we expected and more! And what a surprisingly beautiful space! A true hidden gem! Our server Sarah including the other staff, were all so attentive. We had the duck, lobster, Seabass and filet and every dish was perfect! I can’t believe we waited this long to finally try Choplin’s. We will definitely be back soon to make up for lost time! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

   Choplin’s was incredible! The highlight of our meal was the seared tuna—it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Our server, Kelly, was fantastic, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

   My wife and I enjoyed our meals very much!The service was great but unfortunately I cannot remember our server or the hostess ‘ name that seated us but both were very personable! I thought it was a bit over priced but overall it was good experience.

   Food was excellent. We had a misunderstanding with our initial order which was resolved quickly to our satisfaction. I highly recommend the salmon and the flat stake. Will definitely be back .

   No one waited on us for 35 mins. Had to stop a waiter and ask for service. Didn't even bring us water. Drinks took another 20 mins. We went through 3 different waiter/waitress. Finally ordered. My husband who likes his steak minium rare actually sent his steak back because it was still moo'ing only to have the same steak returned well done. He has never in 35 years complained until today. My market price seabass consisted of rice-a-roni rice pilof topped with i think was the lobster bisque soup. Presentation was poor. We took guests here for dinner. Was embarrassed with the over all experience. The only thing they did was a free round of drinks...drinks that we had to send back because they were either not what we ordered or they were made wrong. A $300 meal that took over 2 hours and no manager to apologize. The hostess came over and said, sorry hope you come back. So disappointing Have gone here for years. Not the same quality or service.

    I like Choplin's, was just 'ok' on our last visit. We waited outside about 30 min after reservation to get table (several folks had same issue). Wife ordered French onion soup, was brought to her pretty quickly... except it was meant for another table. So they picked it up right as she was about to bite in and moved to the other table. Forgivable, but I wouldn't have wanted to be that other table with other guests breathing and talking all over my food. Newer dish in the NC Crab Casserole is a remix of their Blue crab dip with a bit of a funky aftertaste. Mother Earth salad is a little pedestrian for a nice restaurant. Cheesecake dessert was good, no complaints there. 3 stars, I'm still rooting for them. Was a little mediocre this time though.
