   This was my first time trying West African food and it did not disappoint me! My waiter (Russell ) was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations I have the black Star and my date the Motherland. The suya was flavorful and tender (not a beef lover lol)

   Took my mom around 4pm on a Thursday. We were seated promptly. Sabrina was my server. She was very attentive. I asked for suggestions and her suggestions were great! The food was amazing, the restaurant and restrooms were clean as well. I will definitely be back soon..I enjoyed myself and so did my mom!

    Golden had good mix of heat and flavor. Grilled Marinated beef skewers had a good smoky flavor. Plantain cake dessert was tasty and not too sweet
