    We first sampled ChòpnBlọk at the 2024 Summer Smoke Festival. As a result, we visited their new, beautifully decorated, “brick and mortar” location on Westheimer. We were not disappointed. The food (we both had the Golden) was well-presented and incredibly flavorful–a testament to the efforts of Chef Ope and his team in the kitchen. One can definitely taste the influence that West African dishes have had on Louisiana Creole cuisine. The Gold Coast Limeade was a nice complement to our meal. The front of the house team (from the valet to the hostess to the waitstaff) was very friendly, welcoming, and all very much on top of their game. This was a truly five-star experience and we look forward to returning for lunch or dinner.

    I LOVE ❤️ the food and the service. Everyone is welcoming and friendly! Love the environment. Only complaint it the music is a bit too loud.

    Absolutely amazing. I’ve been to their POST location an innumerable amount of times, and have now visited their flagship restaurant a couple of times. Never a bad meal. 10/10. Beautiful decor. Great menu options. Unique cocktails.

    Everything at this place was so AMAZING the food was FULL of FLAVORS!!! My husband and I ordered the Golden bowl with all the meats and it was loaded!!!! The beef patties were soo delicate and it was cooked to perfection! The hibiscus tea and lemonade was so refreshing as well!!

    Took my sister out on a sib-date here Tuesday night as she hadn’t been before! Although I’d been to the POST location, it was my first time going to the Westheimer location. Needless to say “WE WILL BE BACK!!!”. The TRAD, GOLDEN and the BLACK STAR are my go tos. ChopnBlok never ceases to amaze 🙌🏾✊🏾
