This was supposed to be a birthday celebration. No mention ever of Happy Birthday. We had a reservation and they tried to sit us at a terrible table. It took 20 minutes to get our first drink. The server took too long telling us about the menu and then, rather than putting our drink orders in, she went to two other tables to tell them the whole menu. They did not give us the hummus that we overheard "We give this to everyone while they are waiting." The coctail was too sweet and very weak. We were not given the correct silverware for our appetizer. The steak was a huge disappointment (most of it is currently in my fridge and will probably go uneaten). My medium was overcooked and the medium-rare-plus was rare. The cut of meat was very chewy. The appetizers were good - carrots and broccolini. The $80 bottle of vouvray we ordered for the speecial occasion came out warm - room temp. And again I had to wait for the server while she helped another customer. It was very sweet and was served in the wrong glass. Even the ice bucket she left had nearly no ice and so I drank the wine warm. And then the cackling young women came in and were SO LOUD! Screaming. Literally screaming. And they continued to be served alcohol. They should have been cut off. The desert was a disgusting mix of overly sweet pudding, a large hunk of toffee that was too hard to eat and some marshmallow cream on top. Two spoons, no plate, no napkin, it got all over the table. I complained a little bit at the start but I didn't want to ruin my husband's night so I just kept quiet and went home hungry and disappointed in my $80 favorite wine. I would not eat there again. Very disappointed. Oh, by the way, our bill was $400 for two people. Ridiculous.
