Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Church and Union - Denver impresses with its "superb food" and "stunning" decor. Diners rave about the agnolotti, fried chicken, and cocktails. The atmosphere is vibrant, though some find it too dark. Service is generally praised despite minor hiccups. An exciting addition to Denver's dining scene, it's a must-visit spot.

They were behind and we arrived before our reservation time, so we had to wait a long time to get seated. I guess it's better to be late to your reservation and you'll get seated quicker than those that get there early. The food was ok, the best thing we had was the salad. The turkey was salty and the desserts just plain bad. The service consistently missed steps like leaving us without silverware a few times. Overall not worth it

We just had the best Thanksgiving dinner at Church & Union! They were super busy but the host maintained his composure & was so nice. It feels trendy & upbeat there. We were sat downstairs which was super cool! Our server Miles took such good care of us. He made the effort to connect with us. The food was delicious! We were stuffed! We look forward to coming back on a non holiday!

Going out for Thanksgiving dinner is always something of a risk. It was our first visit. Whilst the Church and Union was very busy, the food was good and the service was excellent. It is a new restaurant nicely done out. Would we go again? Yes we would!

The service was great but the food was mediocre. The fillet had no flavor, was over cooked at medium rare and it was mealy. Just expected better a meal for the price point.

Service was amazing. I mean, absolutely perfect staff!!! Loved the ambience (art and lighting). Beautiful table setting and bar. Clean bathrooms. Not too loud. However, I feel this restaurant struggled between being dubbed high-end dining vs the chic, neighborhood quick bite type-of-vibe. Lots of potential, but really fell flat. Dinner and drinks for six landed us a $500 bill and I can’t recall a single dish worth recommending… Would give it another try, but it would be a couples happy hour experience vs full menu dining for a larger party. The cost just isn’t justified for the menu quality, unfortunately.

Overall it was great. It was incredibly hot so layer your clothes in the winter. The mussels were absolutely amazing. We had fried chicken and duck, both were good. The ranch pickles are good but we're sliced too thin so it difficult to be a "chip"
