Ciao 2!'s is now the fourth generation of a traditional Italian trattoria! We are a special combination of style and substance, a restaurant known for its craft beers, boutique wines, and classic Italian cuisine!

Chef Sabrina, a native Pittsburger, carefully sources local produce and food stuffs whenever possible. Our chef has created brunch, lunch, and dinner menus as delicious tributes to the classic trattoria fashion!

This being Pittsburgh, it is only reasonable that Ciao2! pays loving attention the liquid side of things. Signature cocktails such as the Tuscan Sour and the Lemoncello martini, are served along side classics like the Ciao2! Manhattan and the Aviation.

Several beers are on tap and Nick has created a varied and unique wine list!

Ciao2! An Italian Cafe', a salute to classical regional Italian cuisine!

My husband likes their menu. It is ok. I feel it is pricey. Hadn't been there in awhile so we went so he could enjoy.

The food here is always great. The owner was our server, and he was quite busy running the business. He needs more wait staff. It was a leisurely holiday lunch, and the food is delicious, but he should stay with running the business, and not engaging in serving.

Service was slow. No wine list and wine that was provided was poor.Food was not good.Main dish was covered in grease and when ordered the desert, it was no longer available, for a Saturday night, everything should have been available on the menu. Waiter was not very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall experience poor compared to last time we visited there.Would not recommend.

This was my fourth trip here and first one with my husband. It was my birthday, so, our two hour drive for a concert was preceded by dinner at this restaurant. I previously had been so enamored with this little place and this was the first time I had eaten indoors. All other times had been in their outside dining area. I ordered the beans and greens, as I have always ordered, as an appetizer. I normally salt a lot of my food, but, found ALL the food I had that night was tremendously salty. I also was told that there wasn't a wine list, but, "what kind of varietal did I want?" It was odd to hear this, because, there were three other tables that asked for wine and it seemed evasive that there was not a list. Also, the table next to me asked for beer, and the host rattled off three beers and that was it....it was very odd. Why no list for beer or wine? Anyway, back to the meal: I had instant heartburn from either the dipping sauce for the bread or the beans and greens, which set the tone for my meal. The garlic used in their dishes is the jarred kind, which is potent, pungent and overpowering, and they use an unnecessary amount of it!!!! My husband had a pasta dish that had angel hair pasta in it. It was okay, although, I could see the oil it was swimming in. I had a pappardelle with a light cream sauce with mushrooms. The flavor was overpoweringly garlic; again with that minced jarred garlic. This is a gigantic pet peeve of mine. The bread was also slathered with it. The Torta della Nonna, which I've always wanted to try for dessert, they are always "out" of. I'm beginning to think that its just on the menu for the looks! I think this is my last trip here, even though I have always had good service, and good appetizers.

Food, as usual was very good. Their veal dishes are really good. Little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area but good. Waiter was very good and attentive.
