   We were in the area looking for somewhere that had coeliac friendly options, and we were pleased to find that Ciao Mamma's entire menu catered for gluten free dining. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the service was very fast. Thank you so much!

   Great service, fabulous Coeliac friendly food and staff even invited us to sit outside at a table to wait for our Uber after the meal, we will be back.

   Fantastic Italian restaurant with knowledgeable and attentive staff. As soon as we arrived the waiter asked our group about dietary requirements. Being coeliac I was informed that the menu was fully gf except for artisan bread and four types of pasta. You were able to mix and match your preferred pasta with sauce. Nutella doughnuts and icecream was a decadent way to end a wonderful evening. I will definitely return when next visiting Melbourne.

   My wife is a coeliac so it's comforting knowing she can eat good food without consequences. As a non coeliac l can also recommend the quality of the food. Not our first time and certainly not our last visit. Well worth it.

   The pasta was undercooked and rubbery (normal pasta) - and the GF fettuccine was also undercooked. Pesto pasta was very oily. Overpriced. $35 for GF pasta w no protein was extreme. Complained to two members of staff who said would pass to the kitchen. 2 pasta bowls $70 Go elsewhere

   The entrees are amazing, they have awesome gluten free options here! A little bit overpriced for what it is though and the pastas I’ve tried are just okay, the lamb ragu could use a bit more lamb but overall I like coming here for the gf range available

   We had a fabulous experience at dinner- we have one coeliac daughter and 2 gluten intolerant family members and the food was safely gluten free and just so tasty. We will definitely be back.

   I booked this place for valentines day for my girlfriend as she has restrictions within what she can and cant eat due to allergies. The menu was full of options for her, and when we got there, they had cut it down to a set menu for $70pp, which is fine, except she couldn’t eat any of it. She spoke to the manager and in his defence he said they made an instagram post, 10 days prior to the 14th, in which we’d already booked; there was no other marketing for this. The staff were beautiful and told us we weren’t the only ones who’d brought this up. The manger was stubborn towards my girlfriend and didn't listen to what she was saying and kept defending himself with his single instagram post. After that we left, the vibe after we had brought up the issue shifted and we didn’t think it wad worth risking the allergies nor spending money after that encounter, as the manager just didn’t care. I would love to try this place again for the staff and the potential of their full food menu as they have many great options. Was just extremely disappointed for something that was meant to be such a special night.

    Arancini balls and canolli were beautiful... but the pasta dishes were a disappointment. The GF fettucine carbonara was very stodgy and tasteless with just a few pieces of bacon, and the bolognaise pasta didn't have much flavour either. Unfortunately, the tiramisu, which we were both looking forward to, was still frozen, therefore unavailable on that night. We were overcharged on the bill, which fortunately, our waitress picked up after paying,, and the money was then refunded. Overall, disappointing... not like it used to be.
