                                                                                                                                    The service and the kitchen attention to detail were impressive. Cold food arrived cold and hot food piping hot. Taste and presentation were impeccable from appetizers to dessert. None of the dishes felt like they were thrown together. The meal was an exceptional value. Rich, our waiter and Riley our bus boy made our 31st anniversary feel special. Bravo to Owner Mario for keeping up Italian hospitality during these crazy times.

                                                                                                                                    The gentleman who greeted us at the front was extremely pleasant. We reminisced about his favorite restaurants in San Francisco as we waited for our table to be ready. Our server was attentive and helpful along with the rest of the staff. Great first meal back out after quarantine!

                                                                                                                                    Restaurant was well kept, staff was accommodating and very helpful. We were not kept waiting, received menus quickly and food orders were served timely. We did have a table of "young ladies" next to us that were talking above all else in the restaurant. It was annoying, and while I don't expect their mothers were anywhere nearby, they should learn to be better patrons, and recognize that everyone does not care about their latest house hunting experience or why they did not get all they expected from that home purchase! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting well prepared food, with a good variety and great service.

Service excellent. Very crowded and noisy though. Table spacing was very crowded and you interacted with other diners whether you wanted to or not.

                                                                                                                                    Once again the food the service and the atmosphere at Cibos was outstanding. It remains our favorite fine dining spot in Monterey. We also love that, as a party of two, they don’t pack us into some cramped table with strangers sitting right on top of us..... or so close we can share plates. That has become an all too common experience for is as of late. Especially in expensive places.

We were told that the kitchen was busy but that they’d get to us right away; that’s appreciated. Drinks were great, ordered cocktails. Appetizer and main course was tasty. Ambience was casual because people were out talking candidly about their trip to México. Service was quick and courteous. Would go here again, just as a hang out.

To their credit, the restaurant apologized, informed the chef and credited the bill. The pasta was good, not great, but the service was very good.
