   The food here is fantastic!! Portions are huge and the food is cooked to perfection. The meat is sourced from the ginger pig and the whole meal is value for money. If you are thinking about giving it a try definitely do so and go hungry. You won’t be disappointed.

   We were recommended to try City Place and we were not disappointed! Excellent food, service and ambience. We are already planning our next visit and spreading the word to friends and family.

   Fabulous, great vegan steak and vegan food for me and the meat eaters loved their steaks they said, better than they cooked at home, high praise indeed. Great service too, from the waiter in training. Delicious wine and vegan chocolate brownies.

   Another superb evening at City Place. This time joined by friends. One of us tried the vegan steak and vegan peppercorn sauce. They were extremely impressed. We are returning next week with more friends - yes we’re eager to share the experience. I might try the vegan steak myself. Substantial portions - so tasty and beautifully presented and value for money. Thank you again Michael and team

   Fantastic experience for a wonderful steak dinner. They have just opened for evening meals and the whole expericene was brilliant. Friendly service, great food and also incredible value. We’d definitely go again.

   Great visit to City Place on Friday night. Excellent and very attentive service (really helpful bearded ginger guy, didn’t catch his name) which really made the experience! Food was delicious and such good value - only £29.95 for three courses with a generous sized fillet steak as a main (cooked to perfection). Will definitely return. Nice to see a local business offering something different.
