    This was our first time visiting Clarks. We got two cocktails, clam chowder, blackened swordfish sandwich with fries, and clam/mussels in white wine sauce. Cocktails and clam chowder were great! Didn’t love the greasiness of the bread on the sandwich and the bread that came with the clams and mussels. Not a huge string straw fry gal so didn’t love the fries. A bunch of the clams weren’t cleaned well and had gritty sand when eating. Fortunately there was a huge pot of them without sand to make up for it. The space inside is tight and crammed. The staff have a working station squeezed up right next to the restroom so you have to squeeze past them to use the facilities. Overall experience was just average and okay for the price.

    The tables are hard to sit at and have a conversation. They need to do something about the acoustics. Luckily a bar seat opened up because my wife and I couldn’t hear each other talk at the table.
