   This is a casual restaurant with a fairly short menu. I had a soup which was a bit bland, and a duck leg confit which was sensational. My companion really liked her pasta ragu. Cannoli were also excellent. It's a place where you can comfortably bring kids. Lots of animated conversations, but not noisy. A wonderful evening.

   What a delight. This was my fourth visit to Claudio’s Table and what a fabulous experience. I initially went when they first opened was disappointed - too noisy, not what I was hoping for. Oh my, have they figured EVERYTHING out. The staff was excellent: kind, friendly, helpful, warm - really A+, the food absolutely delicious from the focaccia to the pasta to the salads and dessert. The cavatelli with sausage and rapini is to die for. The noise level is totally fine, it’s busy and energetic and you can easily carry on a conversation at your table in normal voice tones. We could not have been happier. Bravo Claudio’s Table.

   We were late for ours reservation because the restaurant is hard for newcomers to spot while driving down MacArthur Boulevard. Better signage would help. William Dakin

   The other two people I was with really enjoyed their food. The bombolini were delicious. However the focaccia was soaked in oil and I couldn’t eat it after one bite and the bucatini amatraciana was so so salty that it too was hard to eat. My husband said his vodka penne was very good but you could tell it was packed with cream (and I noticed a pad of what I think was butter plopped on top as if it needed anymore). I just would just take it easy on the heavy hand with fats like butter/cream/oil and salt.

   Dear Cristin, I am sorry to hear that the food was not to your taste. The pasta alla vodka has no butter, it is served with a half Burrata on top.    Best dinner we’ve had in awhile, truly delicious. Everything was amazing (fried artichokes, anchovies, short rib, ragu pasta) and the service was attentive and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!
