   Seriously excellent food, not the kind of thing you'd buy and enjoy quite happily from a standard Indian takeaway. This felt a bit more like home cooking, with good wines to match. We had a lovely evening and hope to return!

   Don’t expect a standard High Street “Indian” menu. Expect interesting, authentic Indian dishes, mainly from the Andhra and Hyderabad regions, backed up by monthly specials, often from other regions. Highly recommended.

   My family and I (4 total) have been to clays a few times when they were in reading but this was our first time visiting the Caversham location. The ambiance was lovely and it was surprisingly quiet for lunch on mothers day. I've ordered something different everything we've been and we will get sides, rice and bread to share. The food is amazing, we've never had something that wasn't delicious (let alone we didn't like) and the plates are always cleared. Considering the standard of the food it is well worth the price. 10/10 would highly recommend.

   Fabulous food as always. We tried a couple of new (to us) dishes and they were superb and if anything our old favourites were better than ever. Service was very friendly and efficient with Nandana looking on to ensure everything is perfect.

   Clays is, without doubt, the best Indian restaurant outside of London and in many respects one of the best in the UK. The food never fails to impress and the owners and staff set out to ensure you always have a great night.

    Well established and popular Hyderabadi restaurant - a local favourite, and with good reason. We had a nice selection of dishes; lovely service; good range of local beers and (unusually for an India restaurant) some really lovely desserts.
