   Valentine s day They had fixed menu That’s okay Waiter michael not too familiar with food or wine . My first course prawn on toast Ok at best . My husband salad very good We both had poached salmon it was fresh Presentation on old greens awful . Desert we had to wait long and then it came and was supposed to be pistachio cheesecake , but we tasted no pistachio and ot was burned ! Could only eat middle . We should have sent back but we did not want to wait any longer Sorry but we did like the atmosphere

   Thank you for joining us on Valentine’s Day and for your feedback. We appreciate your patience on a busy evening and regret that service timing didn’t meet expectations. Our Basque-style cheesecake is intentionally caramelized on top, creating a deep, rich flavor with a creamy center. It’s not a traditional cheesecake but meant to have a brûléed exterior. The greens were grilled, not old, giving them a charred flavor. We take great care in sourcing quality ingredients and stand by the craftsmanship of our dishes. That said, we’re always working to improve. We appreciate your thoughts and hope to provide an even better experience next time.

   Nice rebuild old building. Staff quickly accommodated my request for a table away from the kitchen. Valentines crowd. Food and drinks good. Loved the basque cheesecake

   We had a fantastic experience last night! Excellent craft cocktails, amazing food, & phenomenal service!!! The Hendersonville food scene has definitely been elevated with the arrival of Claywood. Looking forward to future visits.

   The food was excellent! My husband and I talked about it the next morning and he said “I can still remember what it tastes like.” The chef even came and introduced himself. It was a very special place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!

   The ambiance is amazing! Gorgeous space, seating is great. Food was beautiful but just meh. I got the steak it was a little over cooked and sauce was very salty(and I love salty), we also got pork belly, it was shredded and bland we were hoping for a that caramelized salty and sweet and it taste like dry shredded pork, also got the cabbage which was just ok. For desert bread pudding which was over worked and VERY dense. Vibe was amazing and I wanted it to be great but was just ok

   Our waiter Cohen was super, answering questions and making recommendations. Red snapper was the fish of the day, and it was the best I’ve ever had. Seared for a crispy exterior and moist on the inside, it was cooked to perfection.

    Love this sophisticated addition to Hendersonville dining scene! The ambience is elegant (but I'll recommend back pillows for support on the deep sofa seating, which is cozy but not terribly comfortable). The service and food were great. Can't wait to go back!
